Rather than returning dishonored checks to the Small Business Customer to collect, Wachovia forwards the checks to FARS (Federal Automated Recovery Systems), a division of Infinity Business Group, Inc. and a leader in electronic check recovery. The service is provided free of any charges by FARS to the Wachovia Small Business Customer.
Whether a business receives checks routinely, occasionally or rarely, the FARS Bad Check Recovery Program provides services that it will certainly appreciate. Instead, upon enrollment in the FARS Bad Check Recovery Program, the Wachovia customer can recover the full face value of the returned check, and the recovered funds are deposited directly into their account on the next business day.
FARS performs account monitoring daily to electronically re-present checks directly to the bad check writer’s account via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network when funds are available. The funds are then deposited into the Small Business Customer’s account with no hold.
The Wachovia Small Business Customer can access status reports and view their Bad Check Recovery activity online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The FARS Bad Check Recovery Program provides the customer with peace of mind to accept checks and the flexibility to personally handle a bad check instead of having it managed through the electronic system. Either way, the customer controls an efficient and effective means to collect on bad checks and can concentrate on what they really do best…………running their business.
