(Lexington, South Carolina) Infinity Business Group, Inc. announced today an addition to its National Advisory Board. Senior Business Executive, Mr. Stephen Douglas Kane, has accepted a position as an Advisory Board member. Mr. Wade Cordell, the President/Chairman of Infinity Business Group, Inc., made the announcement earlier today. Mr. Cordell states, “Steve Kane is one of the most highly respected individuals within the business community nationally. Steve has a tremendous resume and is a person highly sought after within the payment solutions industry in which Infinity operates. His vast knowledge and expertise will be invaluable to our company.”
The Infinity Business Group Advisory Board was established in January 2007 to enhance the relationship between Infinity Business Group, Inc. and its Customers/Clients; and to provide strategic advice and guidance to Infinity Business Group, Inc. in the areas of Sales, Marketing and Product Development.
The Advisory Board is a group of individuals representing many diverse fields, professions, and industries. The Advisory Board convenes annually to provide advice, advocacy, access, leverage and resources for Infinity Business Group, Inc.

Steve Kane is a Senior Business Executive with broad expertise in business development/M&A, administration and all operational aspects of the Information Services industry.  Steve has a proven track record of over 160 acquisitions in development of strategy, followed by structuring, negotiating and closing transactions ranging from start-ups to major public company acquisitions.  His experience also includes handling of divestitures, joint ventures and strategic alliances with private and Fortune 500 companies.  Steve’s personal strengths include a strong public company track record, sound business judgment, a lateral thought process, legal, financial and analytical skills, a strategic orientation and proven negotiation acumen.  He also has extensive knowledge of all facets of the payment services and credit card industry. Steve has worked with all of the leading credit card related companies in various transactions from mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, unique partnerships, strategic alliances and has contributed numerous articles and interviews for industry publications such as Transaction World, American Banker, Transaction Trends, Cards & Payments and Digital Transactions. 

Steve has extensive experience with numerous private equity and venture capital firms on assisting them with due diligence and M&A advisory services regarding the Payment Services industry.  These activities principally focus on credit card processing, check acceptance and conversion, ATM processing, money transfer, stored value, prepaid cards and related businesses.  On a personal basis, Steve combines an innovative approach to problem solving with a passionate capacity to motivate individuals and decisively manage the achievement of objectives in complex business situations.

Infinity Business Group, Inc. entered into a partnership agreement with First American Payment Systems, L.P. where Steve serves as Senior Executive Vice President, Business Development, Mergers and Acquisitions.   Steve is an investor and serves on First American’s Board of Directors along with Neil L. Randel, President and CEO.  First American has tripled in size and profitability since Steve became involved, completed four strategic acquisitions, obtained a $150 million Senior Credit Facility and did a $125.9 million leveraged recapitalization.  Steve formerly served as Chairman and CEO of iShopSecure (now Verid, Inc.) which was recently sold to EMC Corporation.  Mr. Kane founded International Card Services, Inc., International Payment Services, L.L.C., International Check Services, Inc. and Stephen D. Kane Enterprises, L.L.C.  He previously served on the boards of Verid, Inc., National Computer Print, NOVA Information Systems (NYSE-NIS), PMT (Payment Services Company, NASDAQ:PMTS), BASIS Information Technologies and was Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer of First Financial Management Corporation (NYSE: FFM).  Mr. Kane is a member of the University of Alabama Law School Foundation Board of Directors.
